There are benefits.... My OH always sends me to buy the compost and heavy stuff because I can be a poor old soul and there is generally a "Kevin" who will load it in to the car for us!

I can turn down unwanted inviations by simlpy saying no and not looking for an excuse on the night!

Don't forget - this is one of my favourite quotations:
Old people are only young people with experience of life!

      Oddly enough, I went R1, R4, then R2.

        Old age is a myth.

I went to my step-granny's 90th birthday party a while ago. Hadn't seen her in a while and expected to see a frail old biddy. She burst into the room as bold as brass and was as loud and jovial as anyone.

My former neighbour, Derek, a keen cyclist, would think nowt of 100 miles a day on his bike. He kept his age secret, but once slipped up with tale about being inconvenienced by events once during the war.

My now deceased great uncle, who was a Royal Marine commando during the war, at age 91 went to intercept some burglars that were breaking into his house. He was home alone, armed only with a walking stick. The tale goes that he sniper'ed along on his belly so as to not be visible through the window, before popping up beside the door with his stick ready to break heads. The burglars retreated.

You see frail old folk tottering about, but you walk into their local pub. See how frail they are when they think nobody is looking:)

'Should' yes - but our IT department are so tight when it comes to what you can and can't do with the internet at work, they squeak when they walk!

Briefly to Luxembourg when I was very young, then the odd bit of radio 1 but mostly commercial stations before getting fed up of all the crappy jingles and just sort of fell over radio 2 and stayed there - and that was a long time ago, because Jimmy Young was still on :old:

:hate-shocked:This is not good news. I'm already fairly well endowed in the nasal department, if it gets any bigger people will start feeding me buns.
Big ears could be an advantage however. Stops your hat blowing off on windy days.

Not really, it's just that young people keep getting stupider.
