Rosie, have to say that Pip looked rather like a border there, lol. The only time mine would rip anything was if you allowed her too and she used to love it!! Jumping up and off settee too, it's like looking at Joyce when she was young, awww.

Loved looking at the pic of Barneys' take off again - so funny. Don't you just love it when they're having a good time?

    cheers

Thank you! Yes, I think Pip is very collie-ish, she's my not-quite-collie :). I'm not sure what she's mixed with, the spaniel bit is a guess. I'd love to do one of those doggie DNA tests to find out her mix of breeds. She's not always that naughty - she's quite ladylike most of the time! :D

    Some exotic pets there!

We had a dog when we were first married and our daughter had a succession of rabbits and guinea pigs.

But we've fond memories of "Skippy," an abandoned baby grey squrrel our eldest son brought home when he was ten.
Here she's a bit wary of the Evening News' photographer's camera.

She was a complete joy, very friendly and loved to curl up and go to sleep on yor lap whilst you were watching TV. She was even "house trained." They use their tails as a blanket. You'd move her tail to see if she was asleep and if she wasn't she'd replace it over her head with her paw. She'd occasionally tuck peanuts in my shirt top pocket or in the folds of my sweater.

This was her favourite position, stretched out in the sun on the top of our eldest son's garage.

    We don't have any pets.

What we do have is a cat that has two humans :hehe:. He adopted Mrs shiney about four years ago although we have seen him around the garden for at least fourteen years. He adores Mrs shiney k-l k-land tolerates me.

I'm useful for back rubs, scratches under the chin and similar things. Mrs shiney is followed everywhere and is immediately commandeered the moment she stops still.

Oscar is an outdoor cat and lives in our greenhouse. He set up home in our heated propagator and now has a cat house in it - bought for him by one of Mrs shiney's patients. He also has some carpet on the top shelf in the greenhouse and a carpeted chair in the car port.

Except when he is fast asleep or out hunting he greets everyone who comes to the door.

His weight is about 17lb and supplements his two sachets of wet food and two, big, handsful of dry food per day with rabbits and squirrels.

He always enjoys the early morning sun.

Is quite happy in the snow if Mrs shiney is with him.

    Typical cat exercise.

Mrs shiney adores him and keeps him on a pedestal. :hehe:

Love these. Thank you for sharing.

Shiney, I remember Oscar 'adopting' you. Glad to see he hasn't given up on you and Mrs Shiney, lol.

      cheers

Smudge, riddled with arthritis, terrified of heights and children. She can`t even jump up on a chair. Lord knows what she went through before she found us.:)

A sad day today, our long time friend and companion, Gizmo, was put to sleep. His health was worsening daily, so we bit the bullet today. He will be greatly missed.k-l
