What plants would you not have in the garden?

    .......there is stuff like Campanula (various), Monarda, perennial Lobelia, a few Tricyrtis, Nicotiana sylvestris, Datura, Penstemon digitalis, Digitalis lanata and parviflora, triphylla Fuchsia, Aconitums, Galtonia, Frits, and so on.........

          I've got room to have everything that people don't like :heehee:. Our motto is 'if it self-seeds and wants to be in our garden it's welcome - unless it's in the way or doing damage' :thumbsup:.

          Here's a link to some photos I took for our Open Day a few years ago. The aquilegia in the first picture managed to get there all by themselves.

          Yep!! I took this photo on Dec 15th. I'm finding it quite hard to keep them shaped nowadays :( and only do one tree per week. They help towards making a micro-climate in that part of the garden.

            Nothing that needs bottle-feeding or nappy changing gets into my garden.

            In general prefer robust plants which are naturalistic and happy in their surroundings.

            All a matter of taste I know, but I don't particularly like Dahlias, Zinnias, Petunias, Bearded Iris, Hollyhocks, Gladioli and stuff like that. Buddleia, grrrrrr.

            Not fond of roses either but have a couple of climbers that I inherited with the house that have been here for decades and I don't have the heart to do away with them. So I can compromise too.

            Each to their own though ...:mute::WINK1:
