The one with the pink shoots could be a honeysuckle?

hi thanks for replies, since i last posted i found a card among the soil.it doesnt have a picture but the name is Platycodon Astra.just had a search and matched Fairy Snow, common name Balloon Flower.grows 10" plus, late to flower.anyway it seems healthy enough(though with the high winds weve had today in NE. ill be suprised if the arch doesnt fly away tonight, let alone worry if the plants will survive!

You can ..if you can persuade the sun to come out ;)
    It`s miserable weather here today.

The only problem i`ve noticed so far is that it`s a large target for birds to hit :D

I took last week off work and changed this

    Into this

Now I've hit a problem. The soil under the old patio is pure clay, not good for the new sempervivum bed.

The old Semp bed was in the way so it had to go.
    Before.

    After
    [IMG]

    Still a bit to do.

    Hi All,

My latest "unique" project is beginning to take shape.
One of these days i might make something mundane and ordinary..but i doubt it [IMG]

A picture is worth a thousand words, so they say.

Overall, it`s 9ft 6" diameter x 7ft 6" high, amazingly strong and weighs in at a bit less than 30kg.

Still have a way to go yet :D

Looks a bit like a touch of Barnes Wallis. :D
Its very clever, but whats it for Hex?
I went to the botanical gardens in Denver Colorado once and they had a massive greenhouse constructed in a similar way, but I think it was concrete.

Hex that shape is growing on me - no corners - shelves that wrap round except for or including the entrance - maximum light and ease of movement. Interesting.
