Well, my garden has been started... 1st job - soakaway.... only the chap has so far dug down through about 8 feet of clay - with no sign of the bottom.... 3 days into the project, I am definitely at the "what have I done??!!" stage, where the only comfort is, most definitely, at least a litre of gin with a pound or two of chocolate.......

..... and if I suddenly dissappear, you know where Mr HB has put me!!! ;) ;)

Well - just got home from work. I put my car on the road this morning so the delivery of bricks could be put on the driveway - and someone has hit may car and smashed the front in.

    I'm WAY past crying now.

Another little project in pictures - at my last place, last summer - The front garden had lots of gravel with pots on, but the gravel became a litter tray..... yeugh! So, this is what happened....
Step 1 - clean up the litter tray, get up all the gravel and put into temporary storage
    [IMG]
step 2 - dig up the central area, then firm down again.
step 3 - make a chess board, and plant in the empty squares
    [IMG]
And the final step - no photo, sorry! - replace the (clean!) gravel around the planting, giving the cats no space to do what comes naturally! ;) :D :D

We have added a conservatory to our garden and wanted to be able to price it ourselves. We found a really useful website for conservatories, replacement windows and doors. They had clear instructions and prices online and the prices were very good so we opted to buy from them. It was an excellent product and was delivered on time.
Try them at conservatories, order online
