What really annoys you?

catztail, that is what my Mum does to keep the weeds down on her patio and it does work.
She keeps telling me to do it and I keep ''not listening'' to her. :-)

and Trunky, it's better a tiding of magpies then a murder of crows, though I must say that I have both having a kareoke sing off at 4 am in the morning. I have put their names up for the X factor in the vain hope that they will find fame and fortune and fly off my roof.

ooohh i got wound up last year about collections by modern day rag and bone men.

my dad had an old fridge-freezer that had packed in. he arranged for the council collect it from his front drive for a fee of £20 on a monday morning. i put said item on the drive sunday evening,ready for collection the next morning.

by the time i had returned the sackbarrow to the back garden a van had pulled up and the man was loading the fridge-freezer into the back. i said "oi mate, you want a hand with that?" and asked him what he was up to.

he replied that any white goods that were "left out" in his "area" were basically his.

it was not left on the pavement or for that matter even half and half on pavement/drive. needless to say that the council turned up and susequently cashed the cheque.

theft or no theft, we were angry to begin with but then philosophical... well... my dad wanted shot of it and paid £20 to do so. did it matter who came to pick it up? its gone, and it will probably be more benificial to his wife and kids than it would ever be to the local council
