Looking good everyone .... I'm jealous of those raindrops on the Hollyhocks, Sis, they are stunning.

Things are struggling here with the constant dry heat .... it's 33.5 as I type this. However, a few are surviving ....

The yellow Canna is now blooming but they are being very short lived, ie, days ...

And of course the true 'day' flowers, Hibiscus, which is heaving with buds but is in filtered sun ....

But there are some sun lovers .....

    Portulaca ....

.... and Mandevilla and Verbena ....

So, off to water to keep things purty .... :)

You still have some colour LoL.
Should things not have stopped flowering now and be summer dormant?

Bob, that looks really good. I love your different heights as well as the colour - and what a nice backdrop with those bamboos.

And more, even as I type. What the purple in the big pot?

Amazing grace: Solanum jasminoides turned out very elegant in the hangingbaskets with the dark background of the porch!

Yes, pete, things are slowing down for the hot months coming up. I'm quite annoyed I can't / haven't got my Cannas in the ground as they are marvellous at the moment and bloom for a long time when they are in the ground .... come the Autumn/Winter I think there will be some changes .....

Thank you, roders, I just love these colourful delights .... the double ones are even better but I have cut them back after first blooming and am waiting for second time around.

Bob, now I know where you live I know why you have such a wonderful garden.

Ivory, your Solanum looks lovely against your dark background. I have the common purple one 'Glaswein'. I don't use white flowers as they get 'lost' in the white walls.

This is not my Bougainvillea but I have admired it for years and finally took a photo today (sorry but we have a bit of cloud cover) ..... I don't know if it's grafted or what (there's only one stem) but it is truly beautiful ...

Oh, You, that's how it normally looks (barring the focus bit in the background) .... didn't think of doing that .... but I don't cheat / lie (except in Enhanced comp) ...... xx

It's a glorious 24 at the moment with gusty winds and we're going down to 18-19 at night .... lovely sleeping temps with the overhead fan going (17 foot ceilings).
