    Clueless is right and we are restoring them never fear, but it does take a long time..

    As for Jack's thread if we have more info to go on I am sure we will find it, so do not despair @Jack McHammocklashing ;)

    It does not matter, It was NOT my thread, I was replying to a lady
    two days later the whole thread had gone, and in my profile posts all replies or existence of the thread had gone, so I just took it that my reply was not what was expected
    (usually if it is removed for such, then we are informed and slapped)

    Oh also, I have not got a clue what tagged, means or any of this facebook stuff ?
    Or why my name is in blue behind an @ icon

    Its nowt to do with Facebook. Its just a way of drawing a someone's attention to a post rather than hoping they see it by chance. If someone tags you, as I did, you get a notification saying you've been mentioned, or 'tagged'. The @ sign is just to tell the forum software to send you an alert, so you don't miss it.

    Jack, if the whole thread has disappeared (and any connections you may have had to it) then that's one of the problems that GC has since the crash.

    The staff have been busy trying to recover them all. Apparently, all the threads are still there but the links to them have gone. I've found some of my missing ones by using the 'Search' facility. They're still there but the thread number has been changed by the crash. That's why they're asking us whether we are unable to find them (Kristen had dozens - I still haven't gone metric :heehee:) and asking for us to give them info on them. :blue thumb:

      Well I have found all the threads by Hurstwood John and pinned them in tropical gardening.. Let me know if I have missed any others by him or what you were looking for is not there..

      The link you gave me still comes up as an error message no idea why at present.. :scratch:

        Don't spend any more time investigating that link Marley it might be a oddity from google.

        Having restored all of the threads by Hurstwood has found the posts I was looking for - Many Thanks :dbgrtmb:
