    so here i am at the end of the first very novice stage of my gardening journey. so grateful for all the support and advice :) i will put my next thread into the rose section.

        well charity barbecue got cancelled due to littleone catching a nasty bug and ending up in a and e with low blood sugar :(
        will take a break from gardening this week i think while i get her better.

              What an adorable space you have there, i like the little playhouse, my kids had the same one.
              Hopefully your little one feels better, nothing worse then a sick child.

                she is back home now telling everyone she "made the nee naw come" she is only 2. she wants her party now (which is the charity barbecue) so just trying to think when i can do it.

                  my mum has grown cosmos and cornflower for me which i chose for the bees to put in my wildlife garden (the bit at the back which is all loggy for the woodlice) can i plant them out or will i need to put them in pots i have slugs and snails which i cant kill cos they are for my daughter to learn about minibeasts :)

                  Glad you little one is on the mend. :) I don't see why you shouldn't plant them out, or do both and have some in pots too.

                    well im back! i havent been able to get on here since last fri as the www. adress for the forum stopped working???
                    now have to type in http something or other my friend who is rather more technically gifted helped me - lol.
                    been to a wonderful private rose garden and got some great rose tips for scent "silver jubilee" and " fragrant cloud".
