What Veg are you going to grow this year ??

    I'm going to transfer my mints to pots this year, as they grew far too much in the ground last year. [​IMG]

    My asparagus grown from seed last year, and over-wintered in root trainers looks dead! there are lots if roots showing through the bottom, but only dry straw like stuff on top, should I abandon it and start again?

    Ive planted seeds for -
    little plum toms (only 2 have germinated so far)
    Courgettes
    peppers
    Chillies
    And have just bought some runner beans and some seed potatoes [​IMG]

    That's what "sparrow grass" should look like at this time of year Mistys. Wait until the soil warms up a bit and then plant it out but don't crop it at all this year and don't cut more than a few spears next year.

    Going to try Tigerella Maximus toms again this year. They are quite difficult to slice for eating on bread, but making a big pot of tomato soup is easy.
