Re growing french beans. The way I do mine is when all chance of frost has passed, probable 1 first week in June,is to draw out a trench about 6 ins wide and no more than 2 ins deep, plant 2 rows of beans into this at 6ins apart and 3ins ( like this :::::) between rows, then cover over. I also scatter a hand full of chicken pellet manure over the row before I cover over.Last year I grew 3 rows about 7 ft long and got 27lds of them onto the freezer.
