These are my cars from when I started driving about 30+ years ago to present day.
The one I loved driving best was my Allegro - recently voted the worst car ever.

    Yikes JJordie!
You have had quite a few cars!
I wonder if anybody on GC has had more cars than you :D

My first car was a Fiesta- a nice bright red one which I was very proud of and
really enjoyed driving. Present car is a Corsa , which also happens to be red.

This is a Wartburg - the one we owned was maroon red though. Bit like the Trabant - was manufactured in Eastern Germany. They were imported from about '63 til the early '70.s I think. Dead basic, dead simple and big enough to put a double mattress inthe back with the seats down ;-)

I am only one down on jjordie - this was my first, an Austin A40 which I bought for £30! However, since I hadn't actually passed my test at the time, it just sat on a piece of wasteland on Lowestoft front and gently rusted away!

No 2 was a MK1 Cortina - love of my life was that car - I travelled MILES in her!

No 3 was a Triumph Herald that had a first and reverse like a crash box and succeeded in doing my neck in. I was once going round the Park Lane circuit in London and couldn't get it out of first into second. Had to get my passenger to do it for me!

No 4 was a Nissan Sunny, my first automatic, whose body work ultimately took on the appearance of a lace hanky! It was brown had did NOT have flower power!

No 5 was an old bog standard Cortina - nuff said about that one

But No 6 was the love of my life! My Nissan Bluebird. I had her for 15 years and wept buckets when I had to get rid! If only I could have had the dosh to renovate her ...

I then had to make do with a Renault Megane which I hated (because it replaced my beloved Bluebird!) but after barely 6 months providence sent two 'nice' young men to nick it out of my driveway one afternoon and with the insurance payout I was able to buy

     tadah!

    my Corsa!

My very first car was a Mini brought for me by my beloved Bob in fact we had many more Mini's after that!

Then he brought me a metro when that bit the dust a very old Renault 5 oh I so loved that car it was so fast on the flat roads but murder on the bends.

A few more mini's and then the dreaded Fiesta x (2) I hated those cars with a passion although it was the only car Dan was willing to drive in!

Then for christmas two years ago I got my very own personal car back a very cute white Corsa all done up with pink, needless to say the boys don't nick my car anymore!:DHel.xxx.

Not when you take into consideration that for some years we had 2 cars, and for a time 3 (2 Ford Classics under restoration and the Peugeot 205) and a few times when I had an old banger for a few months while I looked for what I wanted at the price I wanted.

Mike - 29? not bad  and driving 48 years.

    I didn't learn to drive until I was 42 because I couldn't afford the
lessons nor could I afford to buy and run a car.
Although we don't go very far I wouldn't like to be without a car.

And when we are too old to drive (which might not be that many years
away now  ) then perhaps Mr JJ and me will have one of them
scooters each - so watch out pedestrians in this area - lol!!!

    Reliant Regal (aka Dell boy)

Passed my motorcycle test, so for some odd law you could drive a 3 wheeler, so I was let loose on the road without any previous knowledge of cars
