There is something about blue flowers that stops me in my tracks @Michael Hewett. :) I like the Omphalodes, is it a ground cover plant?

                Hi Sheal,

How about this one then. Lithospermum

                WP_20160508_004.jpg

It's one of my favourites and probably the truest blue I've ever seen in a flower ( except for Meconopsis ).

I like that too. :) I've just had a scout on the interweb and there's a blue and white one too.

I've got the blue and white one. It's very pretty, but there aren't many flowers on it this year.

Not particularly fond of laburnum, but I have to admit this seems to be a good specimen - each flower chain is nearly 15" long!

                          Hi Sian,

                          Your garden looks fantastic :)

Any chance of a piccy of the Laburnum tree please.
These remind me of when I was a child, there was one just outside my nans house and it was beautiful.
Haven't seen one for probably over 20 years, there aren't any round here. We did have one near the park but the council dug it up because of the seeds.
If the parents looked after their kids right then there's be no need for such wanton " Official Vandalism ".

PS. Sort about the little rant on the end.

                              Just for you, @Anthony Rogers

Most of the year, I am not very fond of the tree, but for 3 weeks, it is glorious. The noise from the bees has to be heard to be bee-lieved!!

And now that I've started a new post...

The Pom-Pom viburnum. That is a normal-sized bird table in the background! image.jpeg

Not sure if this is a large azalea or small rhododendron? Each individual flower is about 1" across

This is a rhododendron - each flower is 3" or more across image.jpeg
