....... Looking out this morning add Thrush and a noisy Magpie couple to my list.
We had the bedroom window ajar last night and I heard an Owl in the woods that I had forgotten about, I know it doesn't count but just goes to show that you hear and see these birds and just accept that they are there, until of course they are not.

These aren't all regulars....some only appear when we get a bit of snow so not often:

      Starlings
      greenfinches
      goldfinches
      wrens
      robins
      pied wagtails
      grey wagtails
      yellow wagtails
      dunnocks
      blackbirds
      magpies
      song thrushes
      feral pigeons
      wood pigeons
      collared doves
      lesser spotted woodpecker
      house sparrows
      crows
      herring gulls
      sparrowhawk
      chaffinches
      longtail tits
      blue tits
      great tits
      coal tits

Goldfinches come everday and I see large flocks of them. I'd love to see a nuthatch, a siskin or a jay in the garden. Maybe one day!

Hmmm. The blue tits and great tits have taken the huff. I dared to go away for 10 days and the bird feeders ran out :ouch1:. I filled everything up as soon as I got back last night and everyone else has been back today but no great tits or blue tits. I expect they'll be back soon though - I have best selection of bird food in the village :heehee:

We don't get starlings here! :( which is a complete turnaround from where we used to live. The crows drive off magpies as well, you see the occasional mid-air chase ;)

Titmouse is the most frequent guest in my garden. But recently my friends from Mefaglowers said that their often guests are sparrows :)
