S'Okay!! :blue thumb: Thanks for that. I was trying to take a photo of him whilst he was crawling over the pulmonaria and he took off just as I clicked!

I'm assuming the bee thread is the one in your signature so shall put it there. :)

I've just got a new (old) lens for my new camera that neighbours had taken delivery of whilst I was out today, so I've just walked out into the garden and snapped the first bird to land in the top of my 30 foot high Ash tree using a 500mm Tamron mirror telephoto lens on a micro 4/3 camera means it's approaching 1000mm telephoto and taken hand held:

I think I'm going to have fun with this lens.

:th scifD36: mmm unless you brought it back with you NO, anyway I have a resident pair off Sparrow hawks that are nesting in the local woods so that should sort it out :hate-shocked:
Greenwood Peckers are a big no no with beehives they can easily peck through if they wanted but a little late now as they are fully active.

That's a good shot for a hand held Tamron 500mm Mirror lens, Scrungee. That lens has a good reputation but isn't that easy to hold by hand and take shots with.....well done that man!!!:snork:

Sheal That's a great mix of reflections & movement on the water in that first pic (+ I'm really fond of ducks).

Saw a couple of Tortoiseshells getting 'rather friendly' the other day:

Seen lots of bees buzzing around this weekend and saw a butterfly yesterday, but was unable to what species it was.

My first day out and about at Higher Hyde Nature Reserve, lots of Willow Warblers around but always at the tops of trees! and my first Sand Lizards of the year, disappointingly, no Adders.
Although not very green I think it is a male
