The Bees were out in force yesterday visiting every flower that was out. I'm glad I kept the Red Campion in the borders as the Bees really seem to like them.:snork:

The Cirsiums are still going strong and providing pollen for the Bees. The flowers seem to last weeks and the Bees have been working them with rest, I must get the pink form.

There's a pair of Green Woodpeckers that hang around the plot laughing at our gardening efforts, and they normally disappear in a greeny/yellow flash, but today one stayed around long enough for me to pull a camera from my pocket (but not long enough for me to move further to the left and get that comfrey out the shot)

What a lovely shot there Scrungee. Am I right in believing that when they "laugh" the weather's on the change?

I saw one when fishing just outside Peterborough called North Hey, Scrungee, which:snork: is a Nature Reserve by default as the owner has left most of the land to care for itself. They're a bigger bird than I imagined!

This bee seemed very confused and was moving quite slowly, not sure why?
