              Hi Loli thank you for your positive and kind comments my friend,I haven't got any idea what it is ,my wildlife I.D. leaves a lot to be desired,got all the pocket size books thought that would help me but it just confused me more;)

                  Great shot Woo, must have been sunny, you normally you see the orange from above and the underwing as brown showing the tiny , (comma) here you can see it through the orange colouring to the right of the right leg.

                        Ooh, I do hope so, Jenny. I've mainly seen Cabbage Whites flying around, so I was thinking it must be those.

                        But, I did spy some tortoiseshells flitting around yesterday evening ... so ... fingers crossed :)
