By the way whoever was querying the Cabbage white, their catapillars are just plain green and they leave them in their hundreds!!!

Yes, these are not on Cabbages and that is not the missionary position!! For those that were interested Cabbage white catapillars are just a pale unexciting green.

Well done, Moyra:thumbsup::snork:. You're right they are not on a Cabbage as I don't grow vegs in my garden normally. They're sitting on the edge of a Teasel leaf. I took a shot of what I thought was just a single Butterfly and then realised that I had got two for one!!:hapydancsmil:

Bees came out literally in their thousands in the garden yesterday and were on every flower and even queuing up to get on them.

                    Great pictures Armandii! :dbgrtmb:

Daddy blackbird was giving out his alarm call and frantically moving around the garden today. My husband discovered a cat near my outside tomatoes so chased him off and thought nothing more of it. Later I went outside and discovered this little fellow taking refuge between the tomatoes and the house wall. :)

Thank you for the unearned compliment, Mowgley, but I think you have surpassed any of mine.

Lovely shots of different bees Mowgley. It is only this year that I have started to become so aware of the many types of bees we have that pay us a visit.
