Isn't it great to be able to see things in such minute detail,

Well, I use either a prime macro lens, a 24-70mm macro second hand lens, or a reversing ring to get close in, Jenny........so far without any objections from the Bees. But is amazing how you really don't "see" all the detail when just looking in the garden and how a pic will open your eyes....as you say, it's great!!:hapydancsmil:

Brilliant shots A, love the Bees.:dbgrtmb:

A walk around Arne RSPB was very quiet bird wise apart from few 'Flotted Spycatchers' on their way South and the largest number of Little Egrets I have seen anywhere, 20+ mostly juveniles. In amongst them, and the Curlews were two Spoonbills.
18 Egrets. They were about 200 metres away so no close ups.

Spoonbills, Little Egrets, Grey Heron and almost invisible Curlews, extreme L&R and top centre.

A Sika stag walk across in front of us through the marshland which they are at home in.

Lolli it looks like a Chiffchaff or Willow Warbler, more like a Willow Warbler due to wing length and lighter colour, lots of them are on the move now and often come into gardens on their way.

Loli, it looks like a Chiffchaff or Willow Warbler, more like a Willow Warbler due to wing length and lighter colour although the legs look quite dark (Chiffchaff).:biggrin:

The length of the wings show better there Loli stretching to the tail, a Chiffchaff's are shorter.
We have had 32 different birds here in our garden (some for a few seconds) but a Willow Warbler is one we haven't seen. Lucky you.:dbgrtmb:
