Not much to see at Durlston CP this morning despite walking around most of it twice!
A couple of Blackcaps and a Chiffchaff hiding in the scrub but little else, a female Wheatear was the only bird on show, not even a Raven.

Lots of Butterflies, mainly Adonis Blues and a few Marbled Whites.

Several Clouded Yellows but they never stopped so I don't know what their food source is!

Lots of bees and cabbage whites this morning, but as the heat of the day increased, they deserted me and left me alone in the garden !

As it has cooled this evening they are back again, probably getting a last feed before bed time.

Not much today either! Middle Bere channel opposite Arne RSPB.
Young Swallows were resting after flying lessons.

A Green Sandpiper turned up in a pool in front of me, most Sandpipers are not brightly coloured and easily go unnoticed.

This Spider has set up a web just outside my Kitchen door which is easier to photograph than the one that set up over the pond.

I believe this particular Spider is known as Garden Spider but it's scientific name is Araneus dradematus:hate-shocked::snork:
