Love the blue Pheasant Martin, I've only seen white before apart from the normal colouring.

Ive never seen a pure white one S but seen them with lots of white pigmentation, we get a good selection round and about Sheffield we don't have to drive far to be out in the sticks,

Pity the sun wasn't shining on them i will go back on a nice sunny day and grab a few more shots if there around.

@Gail_68 yes hes a nice looking bird.

Ive not seen many Goldcrest they used to be rare round here, i was a bit disappointed today not to get a clear shot in focus, the AF works really well but sometimes with smaller birds i need to change to single point focus and i keep forgetting :wallbanging:,

Anyhow best i could do out of 5 shots he wouldn't stand still :hapfeet::biggrin:

The Siskins are still around, these two usually arrive together, I hope they stay through the Spring.

That was my third S, the first one was about 20yrs ago, then only last week one flew past me while stuck in traffic and started feeding from the trees about 3ft away i was tempted to get my camera phone out and take a few pictures but thought better of it i was in rush hour traffic,

Then this one Sunday i need to get some glasses my eyes are not as good as they was a few years ago, it took me a while to see what it was i thought it was a blue tit at first lol.
