    Thinking about the 'Obsessive Gardener' thread.....I used my brand new rotary washing line today for the first time. The post for it was 'planted' last week after Mr S stood holding the line while I did a tour of the back garden, just to make sure it wouldn't interfere with the two flight paths of birds to the bird table. :biggrin:

                          Portland Bill. I went hoping to possibly see a Ring Ouzel or Pied Flycatcher but saw this.
                          A Hoopoe, it has been around for a day or two and luckily for me it was still there this morning, the first time I have seen one here instead of abroad. Distant shots but you can't mistake it!

                          The Little Owl has returned to the quarry next to the Portland Bird Observatory and sits there to be photographed.:smile:
