Swift swallows house martins that nest in our village haven't arrived here yet house martins arrived early may last year swifts and swallows was around now so any time soon for me if last year as anything to go on, not many insects around at the moment though due to the weather,

Tried to save a bee yesterday put it somewhere dry but it crawled back out and died, then a water logged butterfly today put it under a large leave hope it makes it.

Swallows have been here for a few days. There's quite a few Bumble Bees around - all large ones and I spotted a butterfly yesterday.

Blue tits are definitely nesting in one of my boxes even though they were put up late. But I still haven't worked out what's swiping one of my bird feeders and emptying it. It has to be four legged though as it's after dark. I'll be setting up a night vigil with my camera one day next week. :)

I haven't got a cam Gail just a camera but I hope to catch some shots of this animal. It's visited as early as 10.30pm so hopefully I won't have to sit up all night. :)
