          I did wonder what this young bird was drinking at the waterfall.
          I guessed it might be a Goldfinch but looked strange with only some adult markings.
          It’s surprising how many birds come here to drink ,although we have two bird baths ,but this is much cooler.

            You are right, @roders, a young Goldfinch.

            Siskins are still here and have been since January but just the male today.

            Saw some Swifts flying in and out of a nest in town on Friday and tried for a pic, this was all I could manage as I had only had the camera for an hour and had it on auto.

              Unsure what this is ive put it outside my living room wall is not ideal camouflage for it.

                            I have some damselfly hatching from the pond :), i never spotted this type last year but they must have visited :).
