Saw 42 different birds altogether Woo but apart from the lesser Spotted Woodpecker and a couple of Marsh Harriers, nothing unusual.
Everywhere is under water, I think I'm developing webbed feet!

I enjoyed all the photos especially the lapwings. When I was young they were everywhere I have not seen one for years. The ploughed fields were their usual spot where did they all go.

I have never got a shot of any bird in flight - I zoom in - and then lose them :heehee:

We have a group of Redwings visiting - first saw them on Sunday - was so excited - never seen one before (had to look it up) - it was raining and they were on the ground next door and flying across the garden - we have red berries on a tree on one side (don't know name) - and on the other some ivy with berries. Took some photos through the window - but not very good with the rain and all - hubby decided to help - opened the blind and then the window - and they all promptly flew away :ThankYou:

They eventually came back and I caught one perched on a branch - stayed there for a while
I set the camera to continuous shooting - and when I zoomed the pictures on the computer one was pulling a long worm out of the ground (sadly very bad quality - and not much better after my attempted photoshop) the other has a branch in front of it :gaah:.
