Cold and windy at Studland Bay this afternoon, Brent geese and Herring Gulls mainly but a few Sanderlings and one Grey Plover were also present.

Thanks loli, hopefully when we get constant brighter light during the day the pics will be of better quality, with more detail and resolution.

Thanks Jenny. The birds do follow a pattern where the garden is bereft of birds for half an hour or so then a flock of sparrows will turn up bringing the various Tits along with them and they will settle at high points in the Shrubs to check every thing out. First thing in the morning before I even have breakfast or a mug of tea I check the feeders and refill the Seed Feeders and whatever other Feeder needs a refill. As this is going on the Blackbirds are chattering away nagging me to put Sultanas by the base of the main Bird Bath....and then I have that mug of tea and breakfast:coffee:........well, after feeding the cats.:cat-kittyandsmiley:
I'm just looking forward to when we all can start taking pics without struggling with the light and weather.

An incredible contrast to yesterday, sunny all day and no wind!
Took advantage of the weather and went to Brownsea Island as they were opening two weekends earlier.
