There were many garden birds too Jenny, Robins, Blackies, Chaffinches, Goldfinches, Greenfinches, Chiffchaffs plus a few 'late' Wheatears and dozens of Linnets.
Only one Thrush today Loli but none in the garden this year.

Should have sat on the cliffs at Winspit and watch the Swifts and Swallows coming in off the sea this morning, not quite hundreds but still large numbers.:blue thumb:

Amazing that the newly arrived Swifts haven't landed anywhere since taking off from their nest last August/September, eating and sleeping on the wing for nearly 8 months!!!

Nice shot Shiney, Common Blue Damsels, as soon as they hatch, they mate.

Went on guided Nightingale walk yesterday evening with an RSPB friend, didn't see one but heard it singing even though we were a hundred yards or more away. Oddly they breed here just above the sea shore not in woods as they normally do.
A very pale Buzzard and a Yellow Hammer on our way to Burning Cliff, the Nightingale sight.
