It's great to see such detail even on the flys, something you overlook when they're annoying you but they are just as fascinating too:thumbsup:

Yeah, that's why I like having camera in my hand when in the garden and using the macro lenses to get that detail. Having said that, they're not as good as they should be due to the breeze getting stronger and stronger........and it always gusts just as you take the shot!!:gaah::dunno::heehee:

He/she was with the red Ladybird on my "White Skyliner" rose which is in a half barrel by the Kitchen door. Both were really small, about the size of a match head, and I must admit it's the first time I've seen a 14 Spot in the garden. Again the breeze had turned into a wind so I was getting seasick watching them through the viewfinder swinging to and fro!! :hate-shocked: I saw the 14 spot the next day in the central border flitting from one plant to another looking busy!! Hopefully, we'll see more of them!!:hapydancsmil:

Went for a walk around Nature Reserve at Oldbury Power Station, heard lots of reed warblers and saw a few flying over the reed beds then dropping back in again before I could even think of pointing the camera at them :wallbanging:
                      But did see the following:
