No, Lidls Luxury Muesli, Currants and Beef suet. They mob me every time I go out into the garden and they stand on the window boxes and give me the eye when I'm indoors !!

Oooh dear, this little fledgling flew straight into the patio door glass about 8 am this morning. Bounced off and fell on his back on the patio. Mr Namaste went out and turned him the right way up and we watched from indoors. Then a bloomin' magpie came and squatted in a nearby tree - obviously to "investigate" so we had to go and eat brekkie outdoors and be guardians. When the sun came out he started to move his head ( neck not broken thankfully) and then he spread his claws out to get balanced and opened and shut his beak a bit.
I had wondered what he was and THEN I saw a tree creeper climbing the trunk of a tree close by and I recalled he had a downward curving beak . I think it was a parent. After 20 minutes Mr Namaste went out to have the usual "come on little fella " chat and he was up, up and away AND flew straight through a square of the trellis without any trouble.
                      One lucky little fella,
                      Jenny,

Lovely markings on his feathers Jenny. :)

Unfortunately we have many birds flying into our windows at this time of year, so far this year about thirty, amazingly only three have died. Last week a young starling had collided and immediately afterwards a group of seagulls were flying down to take him so I rushed outside to see them off..... I've not seen this before. Sadly the starling didn't make it.

@Jenny namaste if you have any Rescue Remedy it works quite well on birds that are stunned from flying into windows, or are in shock. One drop in a tablespoon of water and then use the pipette to put a drop of the mixture into its mouth. :blue thumb:
