    I'm the bravest coward around, Joolz:heehee: Anyone who has done or is doing a tour abroad in the Hot Countries had/has to cope with the local flora and fauna and I was no different. Checking your room, bed, boots etc came second nature and it was probably insects that posed the biggest problem. I can remember jumping out of a shower, wrapping a towel around my waist only to find there were two inhabitants of the towel.......it was one of the largest Beetles I have ever seen!!!:heehee:

          At Seaworld in Florida, they have a Secretary bird they have a mini show with parrots etc and its quite a tall bird and they put a rubber snake on the ground it goes crazy with its legs , the kids were screaming as it picked it up and threw it in the air "rubber snake" :snork: not the kids :rolleyespink:

                            I took this at the same time as my pictures in post #748. Being a bit of a hit and miss shot it needed cropping which is why it wasn't added at the time. It's still not great but here it is......

                                Thanks Jenny! :) It bugs me that it wasn't more central and as we all know we only get one chance at these shots. My son, a very good amateur photographer is my critic and the first thing he said to me about this was.....he's facing the wrong way! He was only joking but unfortunately most birds aren't willing to pose for the camera. :heehee:
