                In the bean field today:-

Saw this little guy floundering on his back ...

                Bee Floundering.jpg

... so, using a piece of bean stalk/leaf, I put him the right way up ...

                Bee Rightwayup.jpg

... I think he was grateful. He hurried off before we could engage in conversation though.

Then, I spotted King Bee of the Bee People.

                CIMG0056 (768x1024).jpg

Only when I uploaded the image did I notice it was photo bombed by a fly.
But, how lucky was that ... gives the size of the bee some perspective: thank you, Mr Fly
                He's a whopper.
                CIMG0059 (781x980).jpg

Then I caught a glimpse of this little lady ...

                Ladybird.jpg

All that within 2 minutes of entering the field :)

image.jpg Finally have seen the elusive Turtle Doves that are getting quiet rare, but had them fly past us last Thursday evening and tonight they landed in a dead tree which is one of their favourite roosting places.I got this photo but had to zoom in so the image isn't very good and they flew off before we could get closer, such is their nature.

PS,I took the photo with my camera and then have taken a photo of the photo with my tablet.Hadnt got time to get Mr Kandy to download onto the tablet as he has been working at his dad's all day and is pretty worn out:snork:
