Whilst walking round the back of B&Q, a big Bumble Bee landed on one of their pansy filled winter hanging baskets, so I whipped out my 'point and shoot' for a quick shot on iA.

One solitary Black Tailed Godwit, no idea where the other 100 or so were.

                Hundreds of Swallows around now.

Should still be here for a few weeks feeding constantly.

Lots of Spotted Flycatchers around, not the most colourful of birds but acrobatic and entertaining to watch.

                Juvenile (no spots or streaks).

An early walk around Sandford Heath, just a mile up the road from me and I have only been there once. I went to look for Wasp Spiders as I saw them there the last time. I saw two, the same ones?!!! It was full of Spotted Flycatchers, I gave up counting after 20
                  [IMG]

                  This one was eating breakfast!
Seeing a (juvenile) Grey Wagtail in a tree was a surprise, Pieds yes but a Grey!

It seems the Hobbys at Morden Bog have moved on which leaves the Buzzards.

I have never seen a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker before so to see two in one day was incredible and the are very scarce and hard to see but I just got lucky I guess.
Sandford Heath again yesterday and this one was more visible, it was tiny, the same size as the Flycatchers near it.

The second was later at Morden Bog but a distant shot, they move around a lot!
