                I found three Raft Spiders on the edge of the Dragonfly pond at Arne RSPB this morning, Not the biggest I've seen there at just under 2" across.:smile:

                  I found out this evening that had I gone to the main hide at Arne this morning instead of the opposite way to the Middlebere channel, I would have seen the largest ever recorded UK flock of Spoonbills totalling 53 beating last years of 49.
                  We could see even more arrive in the coming weeks.:blue thumb:

                        Out and about yesterday at Middlebere and Durlston as the wind had dropped and the sun was out.
                        Lots of Chiffchaffs around, most will be off to the Med soon but some will stay.

                        Mistle Thrushes are flocking but very wary.

                        Common Lizard sunning itself.

                        Orange Ladybird, I'm not sure which species.
