    I've made my back garden cat proof the best i can obviously hedgehog's cant get in, I am trying to adopt one in need of a safe garden save me using pellets and give the hedgehog a nice home :).

    Unusual to see a ringed bird round here.

            Hedgehogs back there must be some goodies in the blocks for him, ive put him some water out :).

                  Also known as the Plume Moth.

                  There has been a number of Little Egrets breeding locally, although I am not exactly sure where.
                  These are the young ones, and like Starlings, were constantly squabbling.
                  Although not visible in the mud, their feet are, unlike the adults, black not turning yellow until next year.:smile:

                            While doing a spot of dead-heading this evening, Mrs Trunky came across this little beauty nestled in one of the Osteospermums. :)

                            Am I right in thinking it's a Speckled Bush-cricket?

                              Sorry this is as far as I could zoom in but can anyone identify it please, it seemed to large for a gull?

                                Looks like a juvenile Herring or Lesser Black Backed Gull, they are as big as their parents but brown and spotted.:smile:
