Decided to go back to RAW format with a newly formatted memory card in Nikon but am not convinced. Separate thread to follow in photography forum but was happier working with jpegs.
Anyway, a few on my perch today but hopefully, with my newly constructed 'bird set' will have a nice new natural perch. Separate thread below.

 

The missus isn't happy!
This evening, I retrieved a large branch from the garden behind us, which I cut down last year. I previously had a nastily constructed (by me) lashed together metal perch on which to hold my bird feeders.
I had the idea last night, to use this large branch as a more natural place to house the feeders in hope of a more natural setting. Sorry for photos from phone but need to raise a petition to tell the better half that it's a great (temporary) installation to help me on my way with better photos and not the eyesore that she is claiming.

Please help before she makes me take it down.

Not sure if I like it or not. It seems a bit tall and well, people over here see something dead and capable of holding old sneakers and undies, well, they decorate....

Sorry ...I'm with the missus. .... maybe fewer feeders and some led twinkle lights might make if look more people appealing?

Hi @ Lori. I will admit it's not great to look at though it's certainly pulling in the birds. I will take it down in the week once it has done its job. Keeping the missus happy has to be a priority so I've locked her out of the garden for now so she can't see it. Ha ha.
@martin-f. Good one mate. How about hanging some feeders from your dish. @wiseowl. Well apart from calling me a goof friend ( for which I forgive you), I must 'bough' down to your sense of humour as I didn't 'twig' on at first. In fact I was 'stumped' when I read your reply. I didn't realise you'd 'branched' out into comedy.
Did you come out with those lines 'on the fly' as you seemed to be 'winging it'.

Little Terns, difficult to capture in flight similar to Swallows, nesting site (about 35 nests) is behind two fences, one electric, as they are an Amber listed schedule 1 protected species.
The Fleet Lagoon,Ferrybridge Weymouth.

 

This little critter likes being out in the daylight hours but prefers the shade under the rosebush.
Wearing a fur coat must be murder when the temperature is in the 90s F.
