A very poor photo but one of our woodpeckers (we have three families in our poplar trees) came to my office window and looked in. I think he came to remind me to fill up the feeders as they were empty.

I wasn't quick enough with the camera to get him at the window but he stopped on the roof of the greenhouse and seemed to have a quick look to see whether I had seen him.

I went straight out to fill the feeders and he was eating before I had a chance to get in the door.

@ARMANDII in your first photo in your post at the top of this page you've got a brown baby griffon, just left of centre, looking as though he may be hunting something. Does he eat tadpoles? :snorky:

#Good afternoon all my friends ,I went to Cliff this morning just to see a new place which has opened, very large ponds (lakes) with a 1 and a half mile walk round the lakes, the new owner who has just recently purchased this land, said it was £2.50p each and children half price,I politely declined the offer as it as always been free, but we are still on good terms ,didn't want to fall out with him as I might want to return one day and he has asked yours truly if I would consider doing a promotional video for him:whistle::heehee:

ps Fishing is £15 per day, boat hire is £10 per half hour anyway I digress here just a few photos I took while he was not looking:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Can't make out the heads but they might not be bees, maybe hoverflies looking for insects?

I think there solitary bees Zigs over 200 different species here in the uk, they use different materials for blocking nest holes,

Plantain is used for soothing bee stings, could be some significance ?.

Taken through my car window, he/she was sitting on the parapet of a narrow bridge I was driving over and didn't seem bothered I was so close. Again I'm not sure what it is?
