      Something has been attacking the leaves on my cucumbers so I sprayed them with hot pepper and sprayed the area around the garden with repellent, and so far so good. I suspect this is the culprit.

                    So pleased today! After a day and best part of night with torrential rain, the garden took a hammering. This morning, while sitting in garden with coffee, I watched a Wren start to build a nest in our bird box that they successfully used last year.

                    It's a month later than last year. Does this sound late to you? They were feeding chicks by this time last year.

                    Chores are out of the window today as although light not good, it's a day with the camera. Pics to follow tonight.

                      Lovely shots of the young Blackbirds, so sharp.:dbgrtmb:

                      Spoonbills, these six arrived on Brownsea Island last month and will now probably stay until next April. They were in another part of Poole harbour this morning and decided to stretch their wings for a bit.:smile: spoon 2.jpg
