        Our cat brought a present home for us today..... A beautiful Common Hawker - still alive - fortunately! :) So we set it free of the clutches of Butters teeth and claws to live a while longer IMG_20170801_143159.jpg

              Not so much buzzing, as creeping, this morning...

              I got a surprise when deadheading my petunias and fuchsias!

                          I now 'upload from file' as I gave up with Photobucket recently but I haven't encountered any viewing problem as attachments until now. I don't know if there are problems viewing via phones or tablets as I don't possess any.:scratch:

                          @ARMANDII you have a much better lens than I have! The first photo was taken on full zoom at 60ft (from the kitchen window).

                          Today seems to be a bonanza day for butterflies. I don't know whether it's the mixture of rain and sun (rained six times today) but I haven't seen so many butterflies for a long time. I guess there must have been at least 30 on the patio plants, paving and house wall.
