    Thank you S, I was only reading about the ovipositor yesterday regarding the dragonfly, it was going round laying eggs in my garden :).

      @martin-f the Dragonfly by your pond looks like a female Southern Hawker, same as the one in my mating shot.:smile:

        Goldfinch are appearing in groups now this morning I counted seven in one group,

        I positioned a cctv onto the feeders before it went dark tonight, it will alert me when somethings feeding, first bit of wildlife spotted as soon as id sat down was a mouse.

              :scratch: When you're wondering why you've seen very few flies or spiders about - then this appears in the utility room- well Brutus of the spider-world :yikes: - ya now out on ya ear - out ya go, as you won't be feasting on any overwintering Flutterbys in my 'ouse :nonofinger: - not this time ole long legs :heehee:

                    We had one the other day, big spider the is :biggrin: I just let them be unless they turn up near the wife then I'm forced to move them :snorky:,
