Trouble is that around here if someone starts to talk about something things happen, ie, someone had a walk through some woods (on footpath, old) and it was a good year for Orchids, the person started talking about them to other people, the owner found out and told the person to mind they're own _ _ _ _ _ _ business, next the Orchids were gone, Thats why i keep things on the QT ;)

@Jiffy you want to move to Shineyland area :blue thumb:. Things are very friendly here (apart from nasty neighbour :heehee: who everyone ignores) and next door is up for sale. You'd like to be next door as I have loads of bonfires  :loll:. I'd let you light them if you want to :lunapic 130165696578242 5:. Current bonfire heap is already 6ft high and will reach at least 8ft by the end of the week. :dbgrtmb:

Nice to see a small flock of Long Tailed Tits come through the back garden again, although very briefly, with an even briefer appearance of yet another Chiffchaff.

Popped out into the garden to take some rubbish out and spotted this ...

Then, the dance began, first on the yellow dahlia ...

                      DSCN1191 (768x1024).jpg

                      Then fluttered onto the pink

                      DSCN1166 (1024x768).jpg

                      Drank deeply

                      DSCN1201 (1024x768).jpg

Then fluttered off to the rose

What a merry dance he led me! :heehee:

Through the window today. It's many years since I've been able to have a bird table and lovely to see the birds that are starting to visit. Members of the Tit family and Chaffinches are around too. :)

Look what crashed into my window! How beautiful to have the ghost of an owl imprinted like art. I will never wash it off.
