I have seen my first Fieldfares today, a good size flock of around 60 but very wary and difficult to get anywhere near.

 

Robins seem to ask for their photo to be taken!

 

Been in Devon all week

Ruff, but the weather was calm!


Double Ruff (there were 7).


A very poor shot of a Lesser Yellowlegs, (furthest in photo)
one of a few waders blown of course from Canada/US by last months storms, this one has stayed here (Weymouth) for four weeks and seems quite settled.









Winter plumage Black Headed and Mediterranean Gulls which look similar apart from the lack of any black on the wings on the Med Gull.

 

A lot of Waders look the same to me @strongylodon, similar colouring. Lovely shot of the Kingsfisher.

It's taken me a couple of weeks to get a shot of this chap. He visits every day but knows when the camera is around. I caught him out today.

 

Fieldfest, lots of small flocks of Fieldfares around.

 

Sometimes you just have to have a good scratch!

 

Yes @wiseowl just a Little one! I haven't seen a big one (Great White) for a while.
