Lovely pics, Kedi and Woo. I've just had to evict a large hawkmoth from the conservatory. For some reason I'm slightly squeamish about moths, but waving a torch around shouting 'fly towards the light' clearly wasn't doing it for this individual, so there was nothing for it but to trap the thing in a kitchen bowl and take it to the end of the garden. It was very pretty but I do hope it doesn't decide to come indoors again.

Thanks Roders, Sis, Woo, Strongy and Clare.

Lovely pic Woo. Your thistles are way ahead of ours. I find they are a favourite with the bees over here and see that they are your way as well.

Clare, loved your story, and what luck seeing a hawkmoth, :gnthb:, I envy you. I could just picture you waving the torch around and finally resorting to a bowl. :lollol: If I wasn't so far away, I'd say call me for help if it comes back again.

A pair of Bullfinches were on the lawn in the front garden early this morning but taking a pic was'n't easy as the sun was shining directly through the windows. This was the best I could do. They seemed to be after weed flower heads as well as seeds.
