I had to shoo that silly bird out of my auxillary pop-up greenhouse shortly afterwards. Must try and set up a weatherproof camera I've got on their nest (designed to fit on a bike helmet) sometime.

A walk around Morden Bog/Wareham Forest this morning was a good one. After hearing a Cuckoo for a long time it sudenly showed itself. A backlit pic but the best I was going to get.

The first of the blackirds 2nd brood are starting to leave the nest (and taking up residence in my auxillary pop-up greenhouse!).

Not seen a cuckoo for many, many years, now we seem to have two taken up residence in our area.

Good to see you around and the Cuckoos.
