            This juvenile from the recent second brood came to the feeder while we were sitting on the bench only 8ft away, they are by far the tamest birds we have.

              Yesterday i came across a little chap i'd not seen before...a moth named The Miller...lovely little thing:dbgrtmb:sorry no pic...well i have a pic but it's so blurred it doesn't do it justice....

              Too quick to get a pic but we saw a HUGE Butterfly in Salisbury. Pure white & about 100mm wide & just about as long. Flew more like a bat & was still visible the other side of the Cathedral close.

              Not a British one methinks.

                Look what's just flown indoors 'cos the garden door is still open. I took his picture and then placed an empty yoghurt pot over him and gently slid a piece of folded paper underneath. I felt him step onto it and then I took him into the garden where he dropped on the plants. All OK.:dbgrtmb: Night pictures moon and moth 26 July 2012 005.JPG
