    Well, I can add another variety of Butterfly to the list I've seen over the last few days. I was sitting by the pond with a mug of tea trying to read a couple of magazines, [no, not those kind, Ziggy:heehee: , but Amateur Gardening and Amateur Photography], when a Painted Lady landed on my chest........it's not often I get a Lady on my chest these days!!!:nonofinger::lunapic 130165696578242 5:

        If I rmember correctly from when they first discovered them, they averaged from 4cm - 7cm.

                Butterfly on Buddlia 27 August 2012 001.JPG I DID have 4 Tortoiseshells on a Buddleia at one time but had to settle for just the two by the time I'd got the camera out. I love that pretty blue border which makes them so easy to identify.
