    My mistake! it's a rare beaded gecko only found in parts of Kent, hangs out with Dunnocks:biggrin:

    Watersmeet North Devon, found a Heron trying to fish in extremely fast flowing water, didn't see it catch anything.

          This is such a wonderful thread... I think that birds are incredibly difficult to photo well.

          A while back I posted a video of a kingfisher which had adopted my birdtable last year. At the time I posted I said I had sadly not seen it again... but yippee... after a full year away it appeared again a few days ago. It spends about 5 hours a day perched on the bird table. This photo shows what a whacky hidden place the bird table is located (red arrow)... how on earth the kingfisher found this spot in the first place is beyond me. And why does it keep coming back? And I've also added a short video taken this morning (better than the previous year's attempt)
