    Found on stinging nettles at the end of the playing field today.. A rare treat..!!

    Lovely picture, Woo. It's almost as if the moths thought 'If we sit on that mauve vetch over there we can show ourselves off to our best advantage'. :)

    Thanks Claralou much appreciated,I was laying down in this meadow,85 degrees Fahrenheit,with the Sun beating down on my back,and then I suddenly woke up :hehe: and their they were:)

    Just love your Kidney Spot Ladybird, Marley, that was really a lucky find.

    Bet you thought you had woken up in Fairy Land, Woo, seeing those beautiful Cinnebar Moths all around you. Clare put it exactly right 'If we sit on that mauve vetch over there we can show ourselves off to our best advantage'. They couldn't have found a better background.
