Beautiful Comma Woo and Bees Shiney.

Not flying or buzzing but they like flying things.
Common Lizards at Abbotsbury Gardens this afternoon.

A very colourful male, they are not usually this green.

Wonderful shots everyone, I do so love this thread and often have another look. Thanks everyone.

Woo, your bee in flight is amazing. After the birds, now the insects :gnthb:

The first shot of your lizard is A-1, Strongy, almost like he was posing for you. What luck catching the female with a grub.

The wasp was on the Arizona Cedar. I didn't notice those peach-coloured bits (flowers?) until I saw them on the PC. It was a few days after I took the pic, so when I went out to look properly, they were just about dried up.

This butterfly had just settled down for the night on the Arizona Cedar when I came along to take a photo. Only managed to get the one before it flew off and looked for a quieter place to sleep -

There are a lot of these butterflies here but don't know what they are. The top of the wings look different and are orange. I have another pic somewhere that I'll edit in when I find it.

Found this little Oak Toad in the garden a few days ago. It is the smallest toad in the United States and the maximum length is only 1.25 inches -

Oh dear, I must be getting old! Yes, I know it was Strongy and not you, Shiney, guess I had you on my mind and both names do start with an "S" :D

I have corrected it now, thanks Shiney. :luv:

Thanks Kedi, I was lucky with the Lizard pics as there weren't as many around as on our last visit.

You are lucky to see so much different wild life to us, how much longer are you out there?

Shiney, :lollol:but I'm sure neither of us are that bad.

Thanks Strongy. Just got back this afternoon and booked to go back for 3 months on the 20th October.

Love your butterfly, Woo, don't think I have seen one like that before with the dark bars across the wings.

woo, that's a handsome butterfly. Do you know what type it is?

Kedi, I'll be over there for just a few days whilst you're there but a bit too far away to get to see you :(. I'll be staying with family in Boca Raton.
