Yes love my pressure cooker and slow cooker too.
The rice/ pasta cooker is only one 'gadget'. :)

Why? What is taking up the counter if you don't have gadgets?

The only things I have are a microwave, kettle, toaster and air fryer.

It's a small kitchen, I keep the toaster in the cupboard and the pressure cooker, one cupboard for dog things. On top of the fridge have the dog leads, 2 what they used to call bum bags to put the poop scoop, mobile phone and extra poop bags.
        Got the microwave and kettle.

Yes, I like my pressure cookers. Mine are the ones with the weight on top of the steam outlet. Old fashioned but I like them. I have 4,6,9 and 23 quart units.obviously the big one is for canning. The larger (23qut pressure cooker, etc) and least used are stored in some pantries in the cellar. Sun oven is outside all summer and then goes to the cellar too.

I haven't had the pressure cookers long (8 years) and I was lucky to get them when I did as I bought and brought them over the border from Niagara Falls, NY. And it was only days before that horrific Boston Marathon bombing.

I could not do without them when I've got a large crowd coming.

That said. I'm preparing only red wine spritzers tonight. I have leftovers (lazy food, but good) and no ambition to do anything else.

@CanadianLori yes I've got the ones with the weight on top, can take the weight apart to make different pressures, have to buy new gaskets often because i use it 5 times a week even more when i make jam or do the Christmas puddings in it.

Why do you use it five times a weeK? I have never had one.

Today I will be mostly grilling a fillet of kippered mackerel with boiled potatoes and butter.
Might go posh and sprinkle some dried dill on the spuds.

Just had a cheese and home grown tomato sandwich. We just got in from a trip out to the New Forest, we didn't feel hungry enough cook mid afternoon. We have homemade soup in the freezer so have taken some out to have with a garlic baguette later on.

We steam our veg in the microwave only takes 5mins too. Use to cook veg in the pressure cooker when we were 5, but not just for two. We use a proper microwave steaming basket.

Takes hardly any storage space just kept with other bowls.
