For lunch I had two Ryvita crackers, two cheese triangles, cucumber and crispy lettuce. No cooking here. Dinner will be jacket potato with butter, onion and Bolognese sauce.

Baked feta, own toms, garlic bread and fresh oregano. I whatsapped this photo to my sister and told her we have now become those people who photograph their meals and share in social media. She told me that whatsapp doesn't count as social media :heehee:

Beef chilli wraps with guacamole. Or rather, guacamole with wraps  It's amazing how two people can consume a four-avocado bowl of the stuff in 15 minutes. It's also dangerous, I simply do not have room for the plants but it's just too tempting to pot the stones up...

Reminds me I must get my Christmas dinner form last year sorted out.

Today it was smoked salmon steak with sweet pepper ,onion ,boiled PFA potatoes .
                  With salad cream.
Salmon was proper smoked from Bexhill.
Lots of melted butter and a small dollop of honey on the salmon.

Might not be able to get a turkey this year for Christmas so I've kept some good portions in the freezer for it. But I can still do all the other things that go with it.

I'd sooner have Egg & Chips for Xmas dinner, followed of course by Ice Cream.

It wouldn't bother us if we didn't have Turkey either. We have it so often nowadays that it's not ' special ' anymore like it was when we were children.

Can't get a whole turkey all the year only around this time till Christmas, that's when we get 2 one for Christmas and later. For Christmas I love doing all the things that go with it and it is special for us.

We never eat a whole one at any time of year....even when all our brood come down.
I don't like having tons of leftover cooked meat to freeze or to have to eat up throughout the Christmas hols...turkey sandwiches, turkey curry, turkey wraps, turkey stir fry, turkey........:roflol:
